my wipers stopped working and everytime i turn them on high it makes a loud hum noise. is my motor blown? ive checked the fuse and its not blown.

Check to make sure the linkage hasn't come apart and jammed.

how do i get to the linkage?

At the base of the windshield is the cowl. The linkage it under it. Remove the cowl and you will be able to access the linkage.
