oil pressure sending sensor

2ooo ford explorer 4.0 sohc 2wd i am replacing the oil pressure switch on the engine block but the napa replacement part has a threaded prong on the end instead of a plug can i cut off the plug and wire it up to the new sensor thank you

Unable to obtain the OEM part -improvise to get it going again-just hope its calibrated as the OEM part

looks like maybe they gave you the wrong switch!----they show 3, I feel sure, one of 'em is you!

Just looking at the 3 parts, I really see no way to successfully modify the pipe threaded one, to work as you describe yours requires.

Might try a different parts store too!

Sometimes that awaiting text message, really messes up their train of thought!
