ac/heater burning smell

I have a 2000 ford explorer v6 and everytime i turn on the ac or heater i get a burning smell what can be the cause of this. Also when i turn on the unit it makes like a grumbling noise it runs. I see no smoke. Is this easy to repair thank you

Check if the heater core is leaking

hello no its not leaking when i turn it on it make a grumbling noise

Check if the blower motor fan is rubbing against its housing
