2000 Ford Expedition Drive Hear Slight Knocking Coming Front Driver Tire

when i drive i hear a slight knocking coming from the front driver tire and when i increase speed or sometimes hit a slight pot hole very heavy vibrations start almost to a point where i think the lugs are off!!! feels like the tire is shaking and i slow down and it stops...what can it be?? thanks (also just had new tires put in so its not that )

check the lugs for being loose then have the front end checked it may be a ball joint wearing, could be a bad wheel bearing as well. they would find it.on inspection.
