Heater wont shut off with the ignition 2000 Ford Excursion

Battery drains down. Blower for Heat will not shut off with ignition.

Check the blower motor relay. Also, in the diagram, fuse 22 is only hot with the key on. Any havc trouble codes? Pull the fuse in the diagram, for load side of relay, that line with the arrow-head. If you pull that fuse, should kill the blower motor, so the battery won't run down.
