We have a 2000 Ford ZX2, it has 127,000, runs great however, it will not go into any gear (automatic) it acts like it wants to go into drive but won't. All fluid levels are good does anyone have any experience on what we can check before pulling out the transmission? Thanks!

We did that, there is a sensor that appears to be part of the transmission, it is a $300.00 part, have you ever heard of that?
