The check engine light was already on, it was an O2 sensor. Last tune-up was about 4 months ago.
I went through the steps on the link as best as I could.
Step 1: all fuses under the hood and under the dash are good
Step 2: unable to do at the moment, trying to get my hands on a reader
Step 3: all vacuum lines and air intake are in good shape
Step 4: dont have an ir thermometer, car wont start anyways
Step 5: all but one of the spark plugs were good, porcelin was cracked on one, relaced all four
Step 6: trying to get a compression tester, the mechanic that looked at it before said it was good, he didnt give any numbers though
Step 7: got a spark on all four plugs
Step 8: dont have a way to test fuel pressure, but I can hear the fuel pump when the key is turned on, and fuel is getting into the cylinders
Step 9: 12.06v & 14.5 ohms on all four injectors, dont have anyone to crank the car to make sure they are pulsing correctly
Step 10: no helper to crank the engine to check the camshaft movement and valve springs
Step 11: no chemical tester and the engine wont start anyways
