As this is a CVPI, it has the 4.6L engine. First, what leads you to believe the injector is faulty? There is a fuel rail that needs to be removed. First disable the fuel pump. You can unplug the inertia switch in the trunk or the fuel pump relay if you want. Then start the vehicle and let it run until it dies. There are 2 little screws that hold the fuel rail to the intake. The fuel rail is an aluminum rail that holds the injectors in place. Pull up on the fuel rail on the side the bad injector is. More than likely more injectors will come out with the one you want to remove. You need to lubricate the "O" rings on the injectors upon re-installation. Push the fuel rail down evenly on all the injectors. Install mounting bolts. Make the fuel system work again. Turn the key to the run position 3 or 4 times and check for fuel leaks. Then start vehicle if there are no fuel leaks.
