my fiance started her car this morning and was sputtering and then shut off. wouldnt start again so i hooked up code scanner to it and it read a code of cam position sensor so i replaced that part and now it still will not start. when it cranks over it is a pretty rough crank over im stuck on where else to go now.

codes never identify bad parts, just failed systems.

start with basics, compression, spark and fuel pressure.

my bet is possible timing belt failure
