After coming to a stop I tried to turn the wheel to the left but it would not move. I turned the wheel to the right and then I was able to straighten the wheel out to the left. The motor was running this whole time. It did not feel like it was a power steering issue. It felt like the steering column lock engaged. It tried to duplicate what happened, even going to the same intersection and making the same turn but it didn't happen again. Can the steering lock be disabled?

thats just a pin in the column that is only activated by turning the key to the lock position.

it may be linkeage or something may have got up under the truck to lock it up.
