I'm working on my sisters 2000 dodge neon I finely got it running. However I do have a misfire on my 4 injector. I forgot the code it gave me, but pointed out that injector. I rand a few test and found out it wasn't getting any electricity threw that part of the harness. As I go to check it out I knowtest the harness to be split or pinched. So now I have a deteriorated harness. My question is what's the best way to repair it with out haven to perches a hole new harness? Please give me some ideas

thanks1

There isn't much there to look at if three cylinders are working. You're looking at a splice and a foot of wire. To verify the problem, measure the voltage on the common feed wire to all the injectors while the engine is running. You should see full battery voltage on the wire that is the same color at each one, that used to be dark green / orange. Don't know if it still is for a '00. If the voltage is missing to that one injector, peel the harness open until you find the splice. Check if it's corroded.

The easiest fix for a new harness is to visit a pick-your-own-parts salvage yard. I can recommend a real nice chain of yards if you're between Ohio and southern Georgia.
