I have replaced the #2,4 coils but motor is running rough. when i unplug the wire from the other coils it affects the motor, but these two do not. got a stethoscope and and can hear a ticking in the coils. had to replace the timing belt and ran into this problem when it was fixed.it runs when I take it out but runs rough on idle and nearly dies at stopping.took #2 plug out and it was not as hot as the others, could the injectors be bad? I have 2 new ones.the coils could be firing but if it is not getting fuel it would not make a difference if you unplugged the coil wires, right??

That is correct. If there is no fuel, it won't make a difference. However, are you getting a good hot blue snapping spark to the affected cylenders? Are you sure the plug wires are not arcing and causing a rough idle?
