2000 Dodge Durango Had Replace Upper Radiator Hose Assembly Afterwards Engine

Had to replace my upper radiator hose assembly, afterwards my engine was overheating and the heater was blowing cold air which led me to check and replace my thermostat. In doing so my water pump quick working so I replaced that as well. Everything is back together, no leaks, coolant full, fan working but I am still overheating, what have I missed?

Are there any signs of overheating besides the temp gage? You may need to use an infrared temp gun, to double check the gage? What is the temp gage reading in degrees F?

As far as your heater, do the heater hoses get hot?

Thank you for the reply. As it turned out the new thermostat was stuck closed. Once it was tested and opened everything is working properly.
