First Off I have a 2000 dodge durango 5.7 4wd
And I Was Stuck On A Muddy Hill So I Proceeded To Put It In To 4wd But When I Moved It Out Of 2wd It Made A Scraping Noise Now It Is Stuck In Neutral and Wont Move At All. I feel As Though It Is not The Tranny Because The Tranny Was Just Serviced Less Than 30000 Miles Ago So Common Since Is telling Me It Is The Transfer Case Or a Plug Possibly A U joint But I Want To Be Safe Then Sorry And Ask a Professional.

It does sound like the transfer case. If the transmission worked up until you shifted to 4wd, that would be my first guess. Do you have an electric shift or manual shift 4wd unit?

It is A manual Shift located on the floor I had a couple of people say it was a plug that could cause the malfunction but thier was on guy who suggested I get a new transfer case but then again none of them looked at it. But to be safe should I get the plug serviced FIRST and See If It Will budge Or Just Replace The Whole Case.
Ps
I Forgot To Mention That The Lever Has No Type Of Resistance Basically Moving Freely like It Is Not Attached To Whatever It needs To Be Attached to and When I Shifted It To Neutral That Is When It Gave Out

It sounds like the linkage came apart. Have you checked it? It mounts at the transfer case left side. Check to see if everything is together. Also, make sure the parking brake is on and see if you can shift the transfer case from under the vehicle.

Based on what you said (there is no resistance) I believe that is the problem. Also, what "PLUG" are people talking about? Did you check to make sure the fluid is full and clean?
