2000 Dodge Dakota Just Replaced Upper Radiator Hose On Quadcab Took Test Drive

Just replaced the upper radiator hose on my 2000 Dakota Quadcab. took it for a test drive came back home and had steam coming out of the new upper radiator hose cap. could not see any other issues. What could my problem(s) be?

Possible air in system run with cap off add coolant as needede till operating temp reached and coolant is flow
