I need to disconnect my tail lights in order to connect electrical harness for trailer. I found connections underneath rear bumper/bed of truck but, haven't figured out how to unplug the connectors. There must be a release or something that will let the connectors slide apart.

Can you help?

Look for a slide that moves to one side. It's usually red and will have a raised area on one side. Push or pull it sideways about 1/8th inch. That will allow you to press the release.
