Code p1497, I cannot figure it out?

I can clear the code and start the truck but as soon as I shut it off and when I start it up code is backing, I did have a problem with electric fan not wanting to shut off it heated my relay so I replaced it. any help would be appreciated. thank you

Hi Kevin, Which code is it, the p1497 or the p1491 code?

P1491: Radiator Fan Control Relay Circuit

P1497: Idle Air Control (IAC) System Performance

I would say it is the P1491 code because it has to do with the engine cooling fan. If you replaced the relay, I would clear the codes to see what happens. I would also check the fuse #9 in the fuse panel inside the truck and the fuse # 2 in the fuse panel under the hood. Here is the fan relay location to make sure we are on the same page.
