dead battery

2000 Daewoo Leganza. Battery goes dead after a few days of not driving. I was told this is because of the clock. Is this a common problem and how could I disconnect the clock. (cut wire or pull fuse)

try pulling fuse.

if this works fine then consider usuing toggle switch wired to fuse contacts putting inline fuse in circuit.
