I have a 2000 Town & Country 3.3 and the belt keeps popping off.
This didn't happen until I replaced two pulleys. After the second time it popped off, I had a mechanic replace the tensioner. Well if came off again. Then they replaced the actual belt and again it came off yesterday. It's funny, it comes off when it is either raining or wet outside. One time if came off while in the car wash and the undercarriage was sprayed.

Please help, this is my main transportation and I don't know what else to do.

Were the new pulleys the same as the old ones? Did you use a straight edge along the pulleys to see if everything lined-up?

Yes they were the same, so I was told and a different mechanic checked everything and said everything was tracking straight. Not sure if they used a straight edge or not, it just seems funny it happens when it's wet or raining.

If you take the belt off, all pulleys turn freely?

Can you can easily turn any pulley without removing the belt?

I'm sorry I can't answer that now, I have had the van towed but I do believe they did turn freely.

Even the mechanic has said he didn't know what else to check. He mentioned getting a second new set of pulleys from the dealer ship, but I hate to spend the money if they are going to do the same thing.

Unemployed at the time and don't want to spend more for same parts.

Your mechanic is correct, I wouldn't know what else to check. Let us know the fix.
