2000 Chrysler Sebring replacing a water pump

I've got all the parts off to access the timing chain. But I'm worried that if I take the chain off the cams will jump out of place. What should I do

They probably will. They are spring loaded. You just have to bring them back in time to put the chain back on. Bring all you timing marks up into correct position and make sure they are clearly marked before taking the chain off.

I could not find my marks. I used nail polish and marked sprocket position and marked the chain for exact reinstall. Worked well.
