Engine overheating loosing water from cooling system no sign of leaks

Runs fine when fully topped up and lasted a week or two happened again today. Electric fan comes on when stationary as it should heater does not warm the inside

You can try getting a coolant pressure tester and pumping up the cooling system and looking for visual leaks.If you cant see anything there then add some coolant dye and when the coolant level goes down look for the leak with a dye light.You could also have a bad head gasket and you can rent a chemical tester to see if the head gasket is blown.
