Don't drive it with the Check Engine light flashing. That means stop the engine right away because too much raw fuel is going into the exhaust system and will overheat and damage the catalytic converter. Given your description of events, it suggests a spark plug is fouled and is causing a misfire. That will be detected by the Engine Computer which will set a diagnostic fault code.

Chrysler makes reading the fault codes yourself easier than any other manufacturer. Cycle the ignition switch from "off" to "run" three times within five seconds without cranking the engine, leave it in "run", then watch the numbers show up in the odometer display. Holler back with those numbers.

For the fueling problem, there is a rollover check valve at the end of the filler tube that is probably stuck, or something has come apart and the ball isn't moving out of the way.

If everything electrical is dead, first check for loose or corroded battery cables, then follow the smaller positive battery wire to where it bolts to the under-hood fuse box and be sure that connection is clean and tight.
