the fan belt still runs when the car is shut off

car is shout off .But the fan belt is still running and blowing air.

also had to disconnect the Battery to stop the fan from running

Hello,

It could be a couple of things...

The Radiator Fan Relay - Located under front left of vehicle on frame rail.

Or if Engine Light is on the Coolant Temp Sensor... Locations -

3.3L and 3.8L - Next to Thermostat Housing

3.0L - Near Distrinutor
