Hello,
Yesterday my gas guage bagan to swing back and forth from full to empty. I just filled it so I know it is full. Could this be a serious problem? Any ideas as to what it is? I would appreciate any help or advice.
Thank you,
Jennifer

Jennifer:

Chances are the rheostat on the float assembly is going bad. Not an uncommon problem. The bad part is the fuel pump is part of it and to replace it, the fuel tank needs removed.

LEt me know if you have other questions.

Check body control module and check for bad body grounds.
