My cirrus brake line broke in the middle of the car between the rear wheels. How difficult will this be to repair?

Cut out all of the rusted section, slide on two fittings, make a double flare on each end of the steel lines, use a pre-manufactured line to stick in the middle and connect it with a pair of unions. The auto parts stores will have all the fittings and they may borrow a double flaring tool. You'll want to practice making double flares first on a piece of the old line.
