My 2000 chevy blazer 4.3l was recently stolen and recovered the Ignition cylinder was damaged with a screw driver. Also the battery was stolen the battery cables were cut at the battery. Gas tank was punctured. Fuses and relays were removed and and missing under the hood. Last but not least the catalytic converters were stolen along with the rear 02 sensor. Since then I have replaced the battery and cables. Sealed the punctured tank filled with gas, and replaced the ignition housing and lock cylinder. I went thru the relearn process for the passlock. It seemed to work just fine turned it off and restarted it about 3 or 4 times that night. The next morning I loaded up all the parts to take to the muffler shop and it was very hard to start and when it does it misfires bad. I’ve checked fuel pressure 60lbs. Changed the cap and rotor I have spark but seems like the injectors are not giving the engine fuel in my opinion. I no longer have the security light so I’m not sure what’s going on. Thinking of trying to order another ignition housing and cylinder. Please help.

These 4.3 engines have problems with the spider injector, but we should run the codes to see what comes up.

This guide can help:

Let remove the spark plugs to see what they look like.

Here is how to change out the spider injector, I would also check the fuel pressure regulator because they can leak raw fuel intake the intake. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

I pulled the codes all I have is po300 and I back probed the spider injector connector and I don’t see a pulse signal going to the injectors. Maybe just two of them.

I don't think so, the p0300 code is a sign the fuel pressure regulator is leaking. Can you remove the spark plugs to see what they look like? Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos.

So, I took out the plugs that looked fouled and replaced them. I went to change the fuel filter before the spider injector assembly with regulator and noticed what looked like water mixed in the filter. Drain some gas with fuel pump and what was left in the filter. This definitely has water in the tank. Added 5 more gallons of fresh gas and HEET water remover but still missing after pumping out some gas and trying to flush filter.

Thanks for the video, yep there is water in the fuel, the fuel injectors really don't like that. Were all of the spark plugs fouled the same amount? I think the problem will be the fuel pressure regulator leaking/bad fuel injectors. Can you please upload images of the plugs?

I can take a picture later. Do you think I should still replace the spider injector? Or drop the tank and clean it out as well as a new fuel pump and filter?

So, I pumped out what I could until I didn’t see as much water changed the filter. Started it and it still ran bad and was failing the fuel leak down test. Changed out the spider injectors with the updated version and it started up just fine but still missing a little on cyl #2 according to the check engine light. Hopefully that will clear up as any remains bad had is gone as well as at heet additive that is still in there. Thanks for your help. We’ll see how it goes at the muffler shop getting the new cats and rear o2 sensor put back in. Thanks again.

Nice work, can I ask if you replaced the fuel pressure regulator as well? I think it comes with the new injector. You can see the spark plugs some are dark while one was light, this could be because of raw fuel entering the engine hence the fuel pressure regulator. Let me know how it goes.
