2000 Chevrolet Venture Passenger Side Door Locked Shut Will Unlock

The passenger side door is locked shut and will not unlock , not automatically nor manually. How do I repair this problem?

The rod that actuates the lock has probably come loose. You will have to remove the trim panel and re-attach the connecting rod or mechanism that moves the lock.
