I have replaced the a/c clutch and am getting 14+ volts to the power side of the plug(the one that connects to the a/c clutch), but I do not have any ground. I just had the transmission rebuilt about two weeks ago, and the air condition worked fine for about a week and then stopped. I am 65 and disabled, I only get S.S. Disability.

I'm sending a schematic of the a/c clutch, it grounds to back of engine it may be loose. Unless the pressure switch isn't telling the clutch to engage or low on freon it may do the same thing. But allyou need do is check continuity between clutch ground and engine. If it's there then it's another problem and needs to be checked.

Thank you, I found the grounding problem. I need to close the gap on the a/c clutch. If I tap the outer plate the clutch engages. Do I just try and keep tighting the bolt that holds it together

The problem for the ground was is the plug itself.
