U can move vehicle manually in park or any position as if transfer case is in neutral. The transfer shift motor runs and turns if yu turn the shifter manuallly it still does not have nay drive on vehicle but you can move vehicle like the case is in neutral like a towing mode. Does not matter where trnasmission is you can still move it but no drive from vehicle engine.
