Hello lately I've been having a hard time starting my truck. It starts but takes a while of cranking. I've replaced the alternator, battery and starter and it still isn't always starting well. Just recently its been misfiring or running real rough after starting it when its warm. And after putting it into drive and moving a few feet it startsrunning better. When it runs rough I also smell quite a bit of fuel or oil. Any suggestions on where to start looking. I'm currently in auto tech school now.

the very first thing you want to do is check the fuel pressure and volume.you could also try cycleing the key on and off a few times before you crank it and if that helps then you know that you have a fuel issue.

Good to hear, I agree with HOMER1967, it sounds like the fuel pump is weak which is super common on these cars. Here is a guide to help check the fuel pump to confirm the fuel pump failure.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Key On Engine Off .................... 60-66 psi

If the fuel pressure is okay I would look at the fuel pressure regulator which can leak internally.
