I have a 2000 silverado 1500 with a dent in the side of the bed. There is someone in my area selling a 3/4 6.6 box off of a 2003 Sierra. I would like to know if it would be compatible with my truck. Thanks.

it should be as long as it's the same size length wise. you only need to disconect the nharness at the left rear of frame and 8 bolts and fuel stuff and it comes off. if you have 4 guys to lift it off you should be able to do it in less than a half hour. you can use up to a 2006 box as long as it's the same length.
