I am trying to replace the oil cooling lines on the pickup. When feeding the new lines, where the lines split seem to catch on the motor mount and surrounding metal pieces. Is there a special way to route there to get them to go through?

No special way. Just follow the old ones. Don't allow them to rub anything that can wear through them.
