2000 Chevrolet S-10 oil leak

right behind the oil filter there is a plug with a wire plugged into ,oil is leaking bad around there, if its oil sending ,what i need to do, and cost,oil is coming from that general location, like dripping a quart a day , just need to know what to do

Not sure of what engine you have, so I attached a pic of the oil sensor for both the 4 and 6 cyl. Take a look and see if that is the part you are dealing with. If it is, expect to pay around 25.00 for it. Also, to replace it, you will need a special socket that most parts stores will have. Disconnect the wiring to it and screw it out of the engine.

the first pic is the 4 cyl. The second is the 6 cyl.
