I have a 99 gmc jimmy 4.3L engine in my S-10, the pcv elbow from the air check valve broke, i have replaced it twice with a part ordered by a dealership parts department, and both have burned up. The part is made of rubber, is there a metal pcv elbow that can be used?

the check valve is bad allowing too much heat from the exhaust and that is what is melting the rubber elbow.
