2000 Chevrolet Prizm lose of power

It seems as when I hit the gas pedal it takes my car some time then it will rev up and shift and do the same thing again til I get in 3rd gear. Also it seems that there is oil being burned out of the exhaust and is getting into the engine coolant. As of right now that is all I know that is wrong with it lol

If you have engine oil and coolant mixing, chances are you have a bad head gasket. That would cause a loss in power.
