Sometimes when i start my monte it will go right into R and D perfectly fine. Now sometimes it will also not be perfectly fine. Now its not even moving but just reving up in all gears. sometimes i will get a little accelleration but not much. when that happens and im in a situation that i really need to be moving i just turn it off and back on and for a min or two it will drive is did before. This problem didnt start until it was the first real bad ice storm of the year but it didnt do anything like before then.
