2000 Chevrolet Lumina Trunk Lock

I recently tried to open my trunk and it was successful but my keys got stuck. I took it to Big O' Tires and there they took my keys out and the man that had looked at it said that I needed to replace my trunk lock. Now I ordered the lock online but what I want to know is how do I replace it?

youll have to have the trunk open. then youll look on the back side of the cylinder to find how its attached. if the new lock didn't come with a key then have it keyed to yours first at a locksmith
