Low coolant warning light comes on

Correct. If the low coolant light comes on either because the coolant is low, or it thinks the coolant is low.

So, if your coolant level is fine then we need to suspect the sensor.

I would still pressure test the system to ensure this is not an issue.

However, we need to also check the attached TSB and make sure there is not an issue with oil in the coolant as talked about in the TSB.

Also, I am attaching the location and process on how to replace this if it is the sensor.
