taillights go off from 2 to 3 hrs and some times up to the nexx day

2000 Chevrolet Cobalt My taillights go off when its cold and come back on when the car warms up and some times thay wont come back on untell the next day

When they go off, does the interior illumination and front clearance lights goes off as well?

The interior dash lights also goes off,The front clearance lighes do not.

I could not find any information on the Cobalt which I believe came into production only in 2004. Is it known by any other name and what is the engine specification?
