When I shut my head lights, the passenger side make a grinding noise for about 5 seconds after its closed. Forums keep saying its a bad gear but I crack it open and its fine. Its not like the gear its self is slipping it just seems to not be receiving the signal to stop when its closing, and I cant figure out where its supposed to come from.

Sounds like a bad gear to me it shuts off from the load of the motor from the door being closed and the motor stoping.Anyway you can watch the gear while the headlight closes?
