2000 Chevrolet Cavalier thermostat

Just had a thermostat put in and it still is not right. Its running over 195 and the guy who put therm. In said the radiator might be stopped up?

If the temp is at 210 it's fine, the sensor is prior to tstat so will read hotter. If gauge is pegged have system pressure checked for a head gasket leak. Also with engine off and fans disabled check radiator for cold spots if you feel any when it's hot then rad is no good.
