The guide on the side of the seat that holds the seatbelt was missing on a 2000 Camaro I just bought. I ordered the guide and it just has two screws to put it back on the seat but the problem is getting the belt through the guide. Without the guide the seatbelt comes right across the face. Can you please tell me how to get the belt through the guide?

You will have to remove the large bolt securing the bottom end of the seat belt to the floor. Then you can slide the seatbelt through the guide. It may require either a socket (5/8 inch to 3/4 inch) or a large star bit, known as a Torx. The Torx size is most likely either 45 or 50.
