Runs poor

I have a 2000 chevy Blazer 4.3 Every time i start it it ideals fine but when i hit the gas it spits and sputters but after 3 or 4 blocks it snaps out of it and runs and drives perfect I repalced the fuel filter and that dint help

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable codes? With that spider fuel system, I suspect that first. Use a gage and check fuel pressure, key on engine off. The fuel poppets may need to be cleaned, there is a shop procedure for that cleaning. I don't know if injector cleaner in the gas tank will help or not? Sometimes it does.
