cig lighter fuse keeps blowing in 2000 chev blazer s10 4x4 how do i fix

put new good fuse in push in lighter and it blows right away

You could have a bad lighter element?There is nothing stuck in the socket?Alsoif you dont have the correct lighter element that can blow the fuse also.
