ok i have a 2000 blazer and i recently hooked up a amp now when i turn it on it makes a weird thumping noise! also has a eletrical draw any ideas

This is an aftermarket AMP
have to follow manufacture direction each system comes with its direction
check and make sure you used the correct wiring size
and have a good ground
