4 wheel drive is going on and off

I have had my blazer for 3 years now. The 4 wheel drive had never worked. it was always in 2 high. Last week i noticed my car stopping weird and i noticed it was in 4 high which i have never been able to push and get it to work. I pushed 2 high and it went back in. but when i started to drive it was automatically swtiching down to 4 high and it just goes back and fourth without me touching the buttons. Im now afriad to drive it cause i cant get get it to stay in 2 high.

Check the wiring to the 4wd actuator in the transfer case. Make sure it is tight, clean, not damaged, and receiving power when it should.
