When backing up my van makes a loud noise when apply pressure on brakes and some time when pulling off.

You know we need more information or details than that. Is the noise coming from in front or in back? What kind of noise, a screech, a grinding noise, a clunk? Do you feel any pulsing in the brake pedal at any speed?
