enter your question...i was told by an expert gstacey to short battery cables, to solve my problem...does that mean touch them together

Do not do that.... best post on the bottom of hos last post for clarification as to what he wants you to do, he may not see the new post here.

Yes, he means disconnect them and touch them together, for just a minute or so.
