What does a flash code 6 mean on a 2000 cadillac escalade?

I find no information of flash codes being optional on this vehicle, all diagnostic codes are obtained with a scan tool. Are you interpreting the flashes that the airbag light is doing at key up as a code? It should normally flash 7 times and then go out. If there is a fault in the system, it may flash 6 times and stay on the 7th, or flash 7 times and come on solid.
