2000 Cadillac Escalade CFSI Fuel Injection Spider Assembly

Can you please tell me what would cause fuel from 5.7l Vortec CFSI fuel injection system to escape and up pool up inside where there electrical connections, between the very top of the spider assembly and the fuel injection harness cover ?

maybe a bad fuel pressure regulator or a leaking spider. a pro woul d have to see it an dmake that determination
